If you’re here reading this, chances are you’re a fellow Jack in the Box fan and you’ve also recently eaten there and received a receipt with a survey invitation on it. Looks something like this:
It’s inviting you to participate in their customer survey online at www.jacklistens.com (or by calling 1-858-876-0461, but who wants to call, right?) and as a reward you will get a coupon for a BOGO Jumbo Jack or Supreme Croissant.
In other words, it’s a buy one get one free deal on one or the other, your choice, but it must be the same item. Example: Order 1 Jumbo Jack and get one free. You can’t mix and match, unfortunately.
How Long is the Survey?
This was a concern of mine my first time taking the survey. Customer surveys like this are specifically designed to be very short and easy to complete.
Usually a few minutes is all it takes to get these done. So don’t worry about a long tedious survey here!
Why Take the Survey?
Well, the obvious reason to take the survey is because you can get a free coupon for a BOGO sandwich.
But it goes much deeper than that. In giving our valuable feedback to stores and restaurants such as Jack in the Box, we can have a hand in improving their products and services in the future.
That’s one of the reasons I love taking these customer surveys, because I know that by doing this, I have the power to influence companies like this by simply sharing my honest opinions.
But honestly, my number one reason for doing it is for the rewards! What can I say, I love getting free stuff and saving money. And I also love Jumbo Jack burgers.

JackListens.com – Step By Step Guide
Here’s a guide on how to take the jacklistens.com survey with some tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way.
Step 1: Grab Your Receipt
Be sure before you begin to have your most recent receipt from Jack in the Box ready, you will need it to enter.
Step 2: Visit the JackListens Survey Site
Now that you have your receipt in hand, head over to www.jacklistens.com to begin the survey. It will look like this:
Step 3: Select Your Language
First thing’s first, select your desired language. The choices are english or spanish. I selected english, but your mileage may vary. Click on one and it will take you to the next page.
Step 3: Enter the 14 Digit Survey Code
Then it will ask for you to enter the 14 digit survey code printed on your receipt.
Helpful trick: Take a photo of the survey code on your phone, many of the new phones allow you to copy and paste text from photos. So this way if you are taking this survey on your phone, you can just select the code from the photo and paste it in without having to retype! I do this all the time, super easy.
Step 4: Answer the Survey Questions
After you submit the survey code and click the button to continue, you will enter the actual survey. It’s mostly a series of multiple-choice questions designed to gauge your satisfaction as a customer.
There are areas to enter personalized comments or complaints, so be sure to take advantage of that when you can. Whether they are positive or negative, just be honest with your comments here. You can also choose to leave that part blank if you don’t have any specific comments.
Step 5: Validate Your Coupon
When you are finished with the survey, you will be given a validation code which you need to write down on your receipt to activate the coupon reward. Don’t forget this part! Your reward is not valid until you do this.
Quick Tip: If you are taking the survey on your phone (you probably are), just take a screenshot of the validation code so you don’t lose it. Then write it down on your receipt before taking it with you to redeem the reward.
Step 6: Redeem Your Free Food!
I know, technically it’s a BOGO offer, but I still consider that free food because all I have to do is buy a Jumbo Jack or a Supreme Croissant and I get another one for free!
To redeem your free reward, all you need to do is take the receipt with the validation code written on it with you the next time you visit Jack in the Box. Simply hand it to the cashier after telling her about it, and they will take care of the discount for you. Super easy!

Fun Fact About Jack in the Box
Did you know that, before his Star Wars fame, Mark Hamill worked at Jack in the Box as a teenager, but was fired for for being a little too exuberant when he finally got to take orders for the drive-thru? They told him to go home and never come back!
He later returned to Jack in the Box for a day for a little promotion he did for them. Such a cool guy!
